This time Sarah Cartlidge is using clay to capture ideas in the early stages of her exhibition project focussing on walking and mindfulness. These small clay tiles are 6cm x 6cm. Sarah chose this size because it’s approximately the same as the dimensions of the camera view finder on her phone. The works here are in response to a series of photographs Sarah took of hawthorn blossom.
